VOICE RESTORATION
Your voice, still telling the story.
Voice Restoration builds a synthetic recreation of a person's own voice from recordings they already have — voicemails, home videos, voice notes — so the bedtime stories they write still sound like them.
It is a recreation, not a new recording. We say so on every story it narrates, and the person whose voice it is decides each time it is used.
How it works
1
You give consent first
Nothing starts until the person whose voice it is confirms it themselves — in their own words, on their own account. An Owner can ask on their behalf, but only they can agree.
2
You send recordings you already have
A couple of minutes of clear speech is enough: old voicemails, a home video, a voice note. Nothing new needs recording, which is the point.
3
You hear it before anyone else does
We build a sample and send it to you. If it does not sound right, you reject it and we try again. Nothing reaches a child until you have approved it.
The rules we hold ourselves to
These are not fine print. They are the reason this exists at all.
- Your own voice only. Never anyone else's, under any circumstances.
- Explicit consent starts it. No consent, no voice — there is no other path in.
- You preview and approve every use. Nothing is published to a child without your say-so.
- Revoke and delete whenever you want. One tap in Settings, and it stops.
- A story's narration can be regenerated only a small, fixed number of times — currently three.
What Voice Restoration is not
- It is not a voice-cloning service. You cannot use it on anyone but yourself, and we will not build a voice for a person who has not personally agreed.
- It is not for recreating the voice of someone who has died. Consent has to come from the person themselves, which means they have to be here to give it.
- It is not a medical or assistive device, and we make no claim that it is.
- It narrates in English for now. Other languages will come, but we will not pretend they are ready.

Voice Restoration is running as a small, hands-on pilot, so we are taking it slowly and talking to everyone personally. Leave your email and we will be in touch.
